Acco... 更多 >> The article discusses implications of corporations saving all e-mail transmissions that are sent and received in order to avoid punishment under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The FRCP require that corporations retain key e-mail messages. According to e-mail system vendor MessageGate, however, retaining all e-mail messages can significantly complicate the discovery process for litigation purposes. Most enterprises do not have a system in place that can cost effectively address e-mail and instant messaging risks associated with the litigation process.
